most people don't even know about it, but i figured i'd help spread the word. It's called Pier 45 at The Port. It's going to be on the second floor and will open on mothers day. From what i've been told it's going to be something to compete with Taylors. Truth be told, with Pelicans opening up tonight, Nolas being decent and now this, it should make going to the Charlotte quarter a lot better. Not to mention you have good resteraunts down there.

There has been a lack of a club ever since madi gras closed down. for the longest time there were clubs in the building that nolas is in

I hope it does well. The building is lovely and it is a shame it isn't used to the fullest of its potential. I am glad they are trying to do SOMETHING with it. Let's see how it goes.

Great, all rochester needs is another night club to cause problems. I'm all for the bar scene, but there's a reason clubs don't work out well in Charlotte. I agree it is a very underutilized area, but a night club isn't the answer IMPO.

Nice restaurants might fare alot better.
