Those scenes made me realize how much I miss going to my village as a kid. For some reason I find hay and barns romantic. I love the thought of a barn wedding, barn party and I wish there were shopping malls at the city that had hay laying around (some sort of rustic/rural interior design) lol.
Elizabethtown, not necessarily a great movie but I did like the small town settings and the 'road trip' feel to the movie.
Most of the small town scenes were actually filmed in Versailles, Kentucky.
Only two scenes portraying distinctive landmarks were filmed in Elizabethtown because many of Elizabethtown's historic buildings have been replaced by chain stores and sprawl. A few scenes were filmed in LaGrange, Kentucky.
Wherever they filmed Jaws looked nice. The nicest little town I've actually ever BEEN to was Annapolis, MD. Quaint times 10.
I believe it was filmed in Edgartown, Massachusetts on Martha's Vineyard.
