I was boating on the Sac river yesterday late afternoon and it was nice-a little breezy, but comfortable ( I was also soaking wet most of the time).
We then BBQ'd on the deck till about nine and the delta breeze had picked up, but it wasn't really "cold"- maybe a hoodie. I was wearing shorts & t-shirt and wasn't cold at all.
The forecast calls for a cooling trend in the next couple of days-mid 80's by weekend- perfect weather.

I know this post is old, but I have to say I absolutely envy Houston weather! I love the humid heat of the Gulf Coast, the warm rain that you can slosh around in your flip flops, the sunrise walks in nothing but a T-shirt, shorts and sandals. Here, it only rains in the winter and you wear rainboots.
