I was relocated to CA from CO about 5 years ago...finally settling In southern Elk Grove. I really enjoyed streaming fish for trout and pond fishing for bass in Colorado, but have not done either since relocating.

Now that things have settled down a bit I am finding myself with my Saturdays free (wife works) and thought it would do my stress level good to take up fishing again.

Is there anyone that wants to share some of their fishing spot information with me? I know anglers typically keep their spots pretty close to the belt but I would gladly offer up a cup of coffee or a burger to chat about it a little.

I am not really into river fishing, but have not spent too much time doing it either...I am curious about the delta as it is not too far from home. But I would really love to find a little pond close to home for quick bass trips and perhaps locate a nice stream within 60 minutes or so to do some trout fishing.

You could always take a trip out to Rancho Seco:

I've seen some big bass out there...
