I searched for info on Plumas Lake in these threads, it all looked pretty old. I was wondering if any current residents had anything to share. It seems quiet, we have passed through a few times recently. We had several friends that lived there about ten years ago but they both transferred out of state. My kids are going off on their own very soon and we are looking for a nice place outside of Sacramento. I don't mind not having services close by, I am used to driving for services.

We used to live in the Fairway Downs neighborhood which you may want to check out. It was not in Plumas Lake but just a bit north of it, behind the Plumas Lake golf course. Very quiet neighborhood, large lots, custom homes. Technically the area is called Arboga. The homes are located at the end of Dye Rd.

I know you said you don't mind driving for services but it really can be a PITA. Are you willing to Drive into Roseville and Rocklin for services or would you be going into Marysville or Yuba City? Marysville is very run down and lacking in many of the basics and Yuba City is just a step up from Marysville.

Thank you for the information. We will check that out. We have family in Marysville and Yuba City, so I will probably drive there most often and visit family. I will be working in Roseville once a week, so I can hit up services when I am there. Thanks!!
