I currently live in a house in north Natomas. I need to move out by the end of the year as the owner is moving here. I want/need to stay in this area and started checking out apartment complex and did find a small 1 bedroom unit w/ W+D and covered parking in a nice apartment complex9I need to stay in the budget as my car insurance will be going up w/ a recent accident; also, I am barely in middle class income range.) I thought that if I can rent a condo directly from the owner, I will get more space for less money that would fit most of my bedroom furniture and not feel crowded.

How do I go about accomplishing find a condo owner ( of 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom) who rents the unit? I do not even need W+D; I just need the hookup. I do need covered parking though would prefer a garage for the safety of my car.

Any help is appreciated.

From what I've researched, apartments are cheaper to rent than condos. I'd try the N. Natomas apts, and most have one covered spot. Some rent out garages for about $70/month. And craigslist.com is your best bet for finding the info you need.

I did but I didn't do a good search and so I did just now. It seems there are more condos in Roseville than in Natomas, especially 1 bedroom type.
Thanks

I did search the apartment. After I set my mind on Miramante & Trovas since they have small 1 bedroom unit in my price range (I can upgrade as well in the middle of the lease), the review I read were discouraging - people complain about the staff and how leaky water heater was not fixed promptly, etc.- though my experience when visiting the leasing office was great.

I just did some search on CL and saw only one 1 bedroom condo for $950. The ad didn't say the sq ft. No phone number to contact. Two bedroom runs about $1100 and so I think it is cheaper than apartment.
