Our family found a home in Crocker Ranch that we fell in love with, however, we found out that there is a landfill nearby. We did our research - some say it causes health problems, some say no conclusion or no corellation. I would like to know the honest input of residents in this area of Roseville. Is it smelly? Just want to know what the local residents think about this, before we make the purchase...Thank you!

Are you talking about the land right across from the Roseville Galleria? If so, the landfill you're talking about is called the 'Berry Street Mall' and it's been closed as a landfill for quite some years now. Was there another landfill out there also?

There's the really big landfill out toward Thunder Valley. I'm pretty sure that's where everyone's trash goes. I don't know much about it, but I've never smelled it.
