Most places that have oxygenated fuel do so because of EPA clean air guidelines. You would most likely have to purchase fuel in a rural county. I guess I've never paid attention, but most likely the closest place would be Stansbury Park which is 20 miles or so west of SLC on I-80. Its located in Tooele county. Maybe east of town (Kimball Junction, Park City) in Summit county.

There are a few places that sell 98, 100, 104, and more octane gas. I found a list at a car enthusiest forum of stations in the SLC area.

According to Wikipedia, you don't see 93 because altitude affects how the engine burns fuel.

This directly translates to less fuel and reduced absolute compression in the cylinder, therefore deterring knock. It is safe to fill up a carbureted car that normally takes 87 AKI fuel at sea level with 85 AKI fuel in the mountains, but at sea level the fuel may cause damage to the engine.

Noted that most (I think) Conoco Gas Stations still sell *non Ethanol* fuel.

Ah crap, I forgot all about the altitude adjustment... that also means my car is making less power Oh well, needed to get it retuned anyhow. Time to optimize for Utah.
