It is St. Joseph Catholic School. I don't think that they have a huge band program though. (you could check) I visited several private schools around town and just liked the feel of this one.

My husband will be there in a couple of weeks. We have a home to sell here in Austin, so I will wait until it sells (hopefully soon!). I want the kids to finish the semester here, so I should be there in December. There seem to be a lot of transplants so you won't be alone!

The schools in South Jordan (Jordan School District) are outstanding and test score well. South Jordan is at the southern end of the Salt Lake valley (approx. 35-40 minutes from downtown).

east_tennessee_family I use to live in Brentwood just south of Nashville. I moved there becasue we were told it had the best schools in the state. I've had kids in school in both TN, and UT. I would not worry if I were you about the quality of education here in Utah compared to TN. I can Say Utah fares better than NM, TN, No. California, but worse than So. Calfiornia, NV, and AZ. It is on par with Nebraska, Idaho, and MN. Yeah I've lived a few different states.

We are moving from Florida to Bountiful next week. I realize that FL isn't really the south, more like Northeastern US (southern edition) but its closer to Tennessee than Utah.
