Anyone have any good (or bad) experiences with lawn care companies in the Salt Lake area? The lawn at my new house has major grub damage, so I think this is a job for professionals.

I just use a local company. I am not sure if they do out in Salt Lake or not. I feel for you on the grub issue! We started having an issue with them in our yard a year or so ago. Luckily, we spotted it pretty quickly and were able to get them under control. Have you asked your neighbors who they use?

I use Action Lawn and Garden - since I moved here 8 yrs ago. Very good people. They do weekly mowing and also have a lawn program where they come out several times a year to put down fertilizer, weed control, pest control, etc.

Chemlawn is the worst! They don't fix the problem. Scott's Lawn Care has been wonderful! We have used them to fix both of our houses. Each of them had tons of weeds and grubs. Our first house had more weeds than grass and in one season we had the best looking lawn on the block. We have had a lot of people comment on how good our lawn looks. They are great to work with. If the weeds and grubs don't go away in two weeks they will come out and spray again for free.
