I've been seeing a different spider lately around the garage and a few in the house - can't figure out what kind they are.

They are small - pencil eraser to dime sized, and kinda amber colored with white dots on the back - the dots increase the bigger the spider gets.

Can anyone help? I've been spraying the heck out of them every time I see one, but if they are dangerous I'll call out a pest control conpany to get rid of them as I have a almost 4yo.

That sounds like one of the jumping spiders. They're harmless to humans.

I know - I just haven't been able to get one to sit still long enough for me to run and get the camera.

These don't jump - I'm familiar with jumping spiders from living in the Valley. These move much more like a traditional spider than jumping.

Nope - nothing like it. This is amber, kinda translucent, and not hairy with distinct white dots on the back.

I think there's only two kinds you need to worry about, black widows and brown recluses. Best bet would be to look at pics on the internet to see if it's either. If it isn't don't worry about it.
