Sorry, I made the mistake a few years back and was so dissapointed, it's more like going to an indoor dealership than a car show. If you're simply interested on new cars coming out than yes this is the event, however if you're looking for an "auto show" you will not like it.

I know that the past couple of years have been a little slow because of the down economy but in past years this event has been awesome. I take my daughter every year. I love cars and usually help my family when they purchase cars when it comes to price and features, ratings so this is a nice way for me to look at all the new models. But I also get almost every car magazine delivered to my house. I have piles of them everywhere. Drives my GF nuts

I used to go every year, but skipped last year. I probably will skip it again this year, unless I read here of something that makes it worth the trip.

I saw that there was no Nissan Models on the floor plan available on the website and that's what the hubby was looking forward to.

SA's auto show is a joke. They can't even keep a consistent line-up of normal brands showing, nor can they afford to bring in some of the interesting concept cars that other shows offer. Granted, I was spoiled growing up in Chicago, which has one of the largest auto shows in the world, but SA's got no excuse.

I'm still going this year, only because a few days ago they offered a 50% off deal through Groupon. $7 for 2 tickets. Cheap enough for me to want to walk in, walk out.

Unfortunately, the same can be said of the San Antonio International Motorcycle Show; it's getting smaller and less brands are showing up. We used to be regular attendees but lately we've decided to pass on it. We got spoiled when we use to go to the large show in Brussels, Belgium where you would see some of the most exotic vehicles made!

Still, since my 13-yr-old is becoming a motorhead, he and I might go especially if we can find a deal like BN mentioned!

Cheers! M2

I am sure Kia will be there to cater to the SA market. Concept cars, not so much. Last year BMW and VW did not even represent and that is just plain sad.
