I hate them both too but I have to give a nod to the Mavs....they beat us so I gotta say they're better than us. We'll see what happens in the next few games...if we can come out undefeated in the next 3-4 games then yeah...we're pretty damn good.

One of the radio morning shows asked this question today: "If you knew that the Spurs could only win ONE of the two games they play the rest of this week (Lakers and Mavericks), which team would you want them to beat?"

Mavericks are a division opponent, so that means more to the division standings, but the Lakers are the two-time defending champs. Tough call, IMO.

That was a nice win. I'm wondering how much longer the Lakers will tolerate their current slide in the standings without making a trade. It was clear tonight that the Spurs now have answers for everyone in their lineup.
