I'm currently in the process of buying a house in Steubing Ranch (1604 and O'Connor). Anyone have insight on positives/negatives of the neighborhood and area? HOA, community pool, etc? I can also recommend a great realtor if anyone is in need of one. Thanks!

there is a cemetery smack dab in the middle of the neighborhood that has dates on the graves as far back as the 1830's. Me and some friends discovered it back in the 80's which was the middle of no where back then. I like the area but just get use to the traffic on 1604 for now.

I live near Steubing Ranch (in Longs Creek) and I love the area. If you can avoid 1604 during rush hour, it is not bad at all. You are also close to 35 and can get to 281 or 410 easily by taking Wetmore road. One of my kids went to a pool party at the Steubing Ranch a few years ago and I thought the pool was really nice. If you have kids, Harris Middle School is a good school. It and Steubing Ranch elementary are still fairly new.
