Has anyone seen people on motorcycles cutting through the caliche/dirt road that exists behind the trees on 1604? Good way to beat the traffic jam during rush hour.

I dont' know how they get behind the apartments on Bowen's Crossing St.

Probably just dirtbike riders. We have quite a few in the Westcreek area and most need to get pulled over since they're also driving on the roads.

I haven't noticed bikes going back there, but I have seen a few vehicles driving around that area. I would be worried about trespassing...

Betcha they will be getting tickets tomorrow. I griped about the 1604/Culebra on ramp on here one day, and the very next morning Bexar county was out there writing tickets. It was like magic, but it made things worse.

*they've been out since, as well, but I no longer complain since I discovered a secret shortcut.

I agree with you, they should really open that shoulder as a lane for 1604 traffic only. In a perfect world it would get things moving, but with the cell phone talkers, last minute make up touch ups, heating a frozen burrito with the cigarette lighter , I doubt it would help.
