What are some good things to do on a first date with a girl in San Antonio?

Just wondering what y'all think. I'd like to hear from the guys AND the gals

Don't drive over a speed limit and get stopped by the cops!

I recommend the Riverwalk!

Don't forget to push her in at some point.

Depends what you want to do: have a classic first date with a movie and dinner? or just a coffee and talk? or glass of wine? or stroll by Riverwalk and some bar hopping?

One time a guy took me to an art exhibit at Blue Star. I hope the show was out of the ordinary like he said and usually has good artwork. When we went, almost all of the pieces looked like they were done by 5 year olds and breasts and genitalia were the prevailing theme. Someone literally cut the shape of a penis out of a paper bag and put it up to be displayed.

That's good to put people in the mood! Well, maybe just me. Wonder how it'd go for a first date.

The Riverwalk? Really? Hmmmm....I guess maybe if she doesn't go there that often, there can be some decent surprises for her. Don't speed and get pulled over? Funny thing is: you can be NOT speeding and STILL get pulled over 'cuz the cop's equipment isn't working properly. Hardy, har, har, what a great memory for a first date.

You need to have a bit more info.....how long do ya want to spend on the date? Is there anything that you both enjoy doing, or NOT doing? Is there something that is of common interest?

Our first date was a day trip to Fredericksburg to wander the town and various antique shops - we're both into history, and I figured it would generate some interesting discussions. I brought along a picnic basket of cheeses, crackers and wine, and we stopped at a roadside area and had a little quiet snack before heading up.

Guess she enjoyed it....12 years later, she's still puttin' up w/me!

Haha! That's such a good story! I'm really happy for ya.

And in regards to your questions, I don't know yet. I guess I'll just make it up as I go along. I was just looking for some very general ideas from y'all. Thanks!

That's the way to do it. Girls like simple things like that, especially if you plan it out.

My husband and I went to the movies for our first date...except I didn't really know it was a date. Then he asked me out again and we went to Sonic, got cherry limeades, and sat on the tailgate of his truck listening to the radio and talking. It was perfect. We were married 18 months later.
