I hope someone can help. I am trying to locate a photographer named Sissy.

She took our family pictures in the lobby at the JoAnn Neal Dance Recital on May 27, 2011 at the Municipal Auditorium.

She stopped my family and me and asked us if we wanted her to take our pictures with her camera. She seemed professional in the way she was arranging the 8 of us. She did not request any money and said she does this for everyone, she stated "everyone around here knows me."

My dad gave her his business card with his email address and we have yet to receive the picture...

I called the dance studio and Ms. Neal states she doesn't know this lady but she says there is a mom from another class who is always taking pictures of the groups, etc, she is going to ask one of the assistants if they know this Sissy woman.

I mean, what could she do with out photos, photoshop it and put us on the web naked? I mean how weird is that. She looked just like a mom, late 50s, short, little chubby, very personable. Is this some weird scam?

I had actually forgotten about it until my dad brought it up.
If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

Thanks

I cant really help you but I can tell you that we have been going to JoAnn Neal for my daughter for 6 years and have no clue who "Sissy" is. We (obviously) were at that recital and no one approached us about taking a picture.

wow...thanks....must've been some kind of scam, she showed us the pic but maybe she is going to isolate my daughter and try to enter it in a contest...that's what my dad thinks.

Prayerfully, it is not being photo shopped and made into something horrible....may God strike her dead if she does...and the only comfort from that thought is it would only be my child's(bad enough) face and God bless the child who it really was.(if that were the case) .

I guess we were naive and too trusting. Later that evening someone took a picture and sent it right to me, but she was a relative of one of the kids.
lesson learned...trust no one. thanks
