The good news here is that I imagine that the traffic on the westbound frontage road at DeZavala might ease up. I get the impression that people use the frontage road because of heavy freeway traffic at times, and it makes it impossible to pull out from one of those businesses onto the frontage road.

What a waste of money. All that time and hassle just to add one lane.

Dang it... I have enough fun dealing with the 281/1604 construction. Now I get to deal with this mess too.

I had heavy construction RUIN my commutes in Baton Rouge for years, and now that I've moved away, that construction is complete. So, what happens? The two areas I have to commute through daily get torn up for construction immediately. I have fantastic luck with traffic, hahaha.

This will help eliminate the stop-in-go commute traffic heading west between Huebner and De Zavala, but of course that will get them down the road faster and double the amount of cars lined up and fighting to get onto 1604.......

.......which will lead to more '1604 tolls are the answer' debates

My exit would be De Zavala Road from IH-10 West, but I exit at Woodstone every...single....time. Why?

Cause it backs up in the right lane...every...single...time, and I can get to the entrance ramp to IH-10 West at the same time as someone that is on the highway.

I wish they would extend this project to at least Boerne Stage Rd. The traffic is getting pretty bad way past 1604.

Costs would balloon insanely. Is it really worth spending $50 million to save only 10 minutes on the average person's commute? Is that level of productivity saved REALLY that productive? Just a thought.

Will they not have to do it soon anyway? Is Wurzbach parkway really worth that huge expense? Do we really need sidwalks on both sides of residential streets? Why not do it right the first time?
