Definitely needed, the entry/exit ramp setup at De Zevala is just stupid.

The article said it's the 7th most congested area in the city. I wonder why they didn't spend the money on 1-6 instead?

Pair that with the construction traffic mess just west of I-10 on DeZavala and you have a nightmare scenario for folks who commute through there. I have been avoiding travel to that part of DeZavala for most of the past year, and this provides yet another reason to stay away.

Yeah, wow. It's going to get -really- ugly around there real quick.

That DeZavala on/off ramp has got to go, though. Can't tell you how many people I see merge onto I-10, stay in that lane (confusing oncoming I-10 traffic that thinks they're trying to merge), take the exit, and then immediately slam across all 4 lanes on the access road to get to that HEB.

The entry/exit ramp on every stretch of highway in this city is stupid. It's the only city I have ever lived in that exiting traffic has to cross in front of entry traffic.

It defies everything you have learned about driving. If I am on a road, there is no reason why I should have to yield to traffic coming on the the road that I am all ready on. I live off DeZavala, When ever I am coming from the East, I get off at Woodstone, its less of a headache

Just don't drive yourselves afterwards if you've had a wee bit much.
