It’s an old non-working early 80’s TV with a wooden cabinet base built around it. I’m looking at taking it to Best Buy, but want a backup just in case they don’t take it cause of the surrounding wood puts it over their 32 inch size limit.

Thanks,

If you still have the vacuum tubes, I could recycle those for you. I have a small collection of vintage tubes, always looking for more.

This sounds very ghetto, but I would put it by the curbside with your trash can. I put some old electronics by the curb, all were gone by sunrise. One man's trash is another man's treasure!

Oh dear god no, Lead and cadmium are among the elements used in Cathode ray tube construction, along with phosphors materials. Respect the land we got here, especially right above the Edward’s aquifer.

Ain't no vacuum tubes in a 1980s TV.

Try Logistix Recycling (210-RECLAIM). They take items that aren't accepted in the city-wide curbside recycling.
