Saw a sign about a meeting. They going to discuss why they are taking longer than building the Pyramids to actual finish it?

Seems they ripped up major sections and then stopped dead.

I saw the sign too. I'd like to go and ask just how this company got the bid? They have to be the most inept construction company in the world! I could have finished it by now with just a shovel and a rake!

Here's the link. I've stopped driving on De Zavala heading west unless absolutely necessary....

Yeah. stretches of that road were ripped up and NOT worked on for months. Something funny - look for the money.

Pretty typical - same on Prue. Competent multitasking would have finished both these projects months ago.

I can't find the thread that talked about the construction exclusively...but....De Zavala now has four lanes between 10 and Autumn Vista. The other bit between there and Sunset Haven/Babcock still needs to be finished...but it doesn't look like it should be long.

Yes. It was a welcome surprise for my Friday afternoon commute. The driving surfaces are still not smooth and there are random sewer top lids that stick out, but I will take it. It was definitely most refreshing to see. Can't wait till it is done to the De Zavala curve!
