So tomorrow I want to vote, but it states that my polling location is at a school? The same one that I voted at for the Texas Republican Primary, but school was out of session then. My problem is....what the heck are they going to do about parking?! Are voters going to compete with teachers for parking spots?!

How is this going to work?

Yes, you compete with teachers. There will be a few visitor spots and they may ask the teachers to park in another lot(if that's an option). My suggestion is to get there 30-45 minutes before school starts to get a spot or just be prepared to walk down the street.

Somewhat, but many of us (teachers) will be there earlier than the polls open. Most schools will have the lots closest to the poll entry "reserved" for voters. Faculty/staff and parents will use the other lots. And yes, there will probably be not enough parking at certain times...

This is why I always early vote. No lines, no hassles.

There was voting both at Clark and Locke Hill when I lived on that side of 10. I even remember the first election that I was able to vote in was at Clark...and that was....2002? It's nothing new and it won't change. Sorry about that.

Well, for some people, they live in the suburbs, where there isn't much "on-street" parking that's really close. So they either have to fit in the visitor spots allotted for voters or they have to walk a good bit.

Stupid suburbs and car-centric society!

One of the places I used to have to vote was a large Catholic church. It usually wasn't too bad when it was a Tuesday election, but Saturday elections would often conflict with weddings and funerals, and of course they held a weekly Mass every Saturday. It could present a problem for voters, as they would have to compete for parking with parishoners.

Most elementary schools don't have huge parking lots...but they're usually in the middle of a neighborhood, so you can always park in front of someone's house and walk a block or two over.

A little walk never killed anyone.

I'm riding my bicycle to go vote tomorrow

During the day today the Stone Oak library was practically empty. I did my weekly shift and was worried it would be crazy they did say it was busy at 7 am and they expected a crowd late. A poll worker told me 54% of registered voters for that precinct voted early.
