Here's one: Where can I purchase a 20x or 30x magnification glass/jeweler's loupe? My 10x loupe sometimes just doesn't cut it when I need to check some tiny detail in my coin collection for varieties/errors.

Locally, I'd bet you could find a magnifier at SA Scientific, over off of Bandera road....

Vehicles with engines manufactured before 1974 can run (nicely) on avgas, but the legality is questionable.
Newer vehicles with catalytic converters, computers and oxygen sensors will not run well, if at all for long using avgas.

I found this thread interesting: (Hope this helps)

Using Avgas In Your Vehicle? — Tech Ops Forum | Airliners.net
I used to work in Fuels back in the mid-70's (Air Force) and AVGAS was 115 Octane used for propeller driven aircraft as stated above. Some people used to put 5 gallons of AVGAS in a 20 gallon tank with no problems back then; however, one guy tried a full tank full and it blew up his engine (ran way too hot). Air Force would use JP4 and Navy would use JP5.

Thanks Paka and Deep Forest, but the whole purpose for the "Where in San Antonio Can I Find..." thread is to find where IN SAN ANTONIO I can find something, not online.

Thanks Texas Redneck for the lead. Another place that I haven't tried yet is Texas Hydroponics, which is not exactly what I would say is the type of store I would normally frequent (not the type of crowd I run with). But hey, rather than waste gas running all over town, might as well give it a try.

If you would have cared to do a search you'd find that Harbor Freight has three stores in San Antonio and I know they have that item in stock. Saw it last time I went there.

Hmm, I'm not convinced, just because "they say?" Taco Taco is good but really need to try Taco Garage on Broadway.
