I'm looking to go out and purchase a new grill for the house and was curious as to how to go about removing (I.E. trashing) my current grill.

It's a fairly decent size and something, I would presumed, I would need to handle by different means versus tossing off to the side of the curb.

Anyone have any experience with this - any help and advice would be greatly appreciated!

Apparently it's not the "in thing" around here but I put my old one in the garage and then when bulky item pickup came about I put it out on the curb. I dont think it lasted until the actual pickup.

The Society of St Vincent De Paul will take it, working or not. You can call them at 220-2464 to arrange a free pick up or you can take it to their location at 1341 W Laurel (off I-10 and Culebra) M-F 8-5 or Sat 8-12. They are closed on Sunday.

You have probably have already done something with your grill but for anyone else facing this dilemma I have a simple solution just put it at the curb with a free sign on it. I have one at the house, next to my brisket pit, one at the farm and one at the deer lease, I don't like cooking with gas so I don't care if the burners are shot. I use wood,( not briquets ugh) or the natural charcoal. Anyway if your neighborhood us not gated or in some remote location I guarantee you if you put it out in the morning it will be gone before noon.
