I'm moving to San Antonio and I'm looking for a safe, quiet and peaceful neighborhood. I'm looking near the Culebra creek park area, and /or the area near jones maltzberger and thousand oaks intersection, Or maybe near silverhorn golf? Am I looking in the right places?....which is the best?...any suggestions?

It would help if you gave more information, such as what is your price range?

The Culebra Creek area is newer and expanding. Traffic will be a nightmare. The Jones Maltsberger area is just as good but ess crowded. The only downside to that area is that you will be bombarded by airport noises. Those two areas are in two completely different parts of the city. Is distance an issue or do you just want somewhere nice?

Actually, we lived in the Jones Maltsburger/Thousand Oaks area for 9 years (Whisper Hollow), and airport noise is negligent. If you look at a map of the runways, they form a V....that area is right in the middle, so airplanes actually are headed away from it. Now, if you look at the Blanco/Churchill area, you are right in the flight path.

True. I just remember looking at The Remington Apartment complex (which may be a good area to be and within the Op's budget) near that area and hearing them fly over, but that was outside and inside may have been a different story.

Henderson Pass is a decent area, you'll be fine there, and it's conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, etc.
