There's nothing wrong with this, but I just thought they would be at least 40-50%. 20% seems too little.

I mean, even if it was half Hispanic people marking Hispanic, a lot of them don't even speak Spanish, something that is a huge part of Hispanic identity.

It's actually a little over 25% Non Hispanic white. I relocated here from a small town in MA. You don't need to know Spanish. It helps tremendously if you work in education, customer service or health care. What is your question exactly?

I have no simpathy for Spanish only speakers. (Not many in town)

You don't have to speak Spanish to be Hispanic. Speaking Spanish does not give you the Hispanic label either.

The OP asked about San Antonio, not the metro.

You don't need to speak Spanish to be Hispanic. Hispanic is an ethnicity created by the U.S. government to describe all descendants of those from Spanish-speaking countries. Hispanic is not a race either. Even though most Hispanics in San Antonio are more than likely mestizo, they check "white."

Default Dyeing Class,

Sad but true statement , Clairol Dye does works well however for dyeing.
Fakery. Love these kind of posts. We've some Funny stuff here,
Hilarious posting. Funny how one letter can change the entire meaning of a word.
Most true as actually posted here in the literal and true sense of that word...Merely notate how many bottle blondes there are out there.
L210 , always continue to write precisely, like it is. Keep it up. I noted with regret the advice you gave to the family moving from Ann Arbor, San Antonio is infested with racism. No matter the soft entries here.
This is a city of the Old South. Words of racism are let fly without hesitation by many
still. Still......I too agree- they will fare well here in Old San Antonio.
I have observed this all of my life too. It is changing. When will you complete your Doctorate ? How is Austin?
