I have started to get allergies in the last week or so. My eyes are itching so I am assuming this is the beginning of cedar fever season. However, when I look at pollen counts for San Antonio online at various websites, tree pollen is absent. The only place that indicates juniper pollen in the air here is pollen.com. This website says pollen levels are at medium/moderate levels.

Why is there such a discrepancy in the pollen reports for SA right now?

Is anyone else feeling the effects of cedar pollen right now?

It hasn't actually hit me yet either. I'm enjoying this respite until it hits later this month.

Has not hit me either. Cedar usually does.

Mold could be bad. An increase in moisture caused mold to go up.

Paul Ratner's Twitter page said that cedar has been light today and yesterday. Also showed up on 12/2. Those are the only times this season, apparently.

This guy was just on NPR explaining seasonal allergies. It is probably mold right now because of the unusual amount of rain that we had. Cedar gets me like the others who have posted and I have not been suffering so I don't think it's cedar.

That would make sense, I am allergic to mold too.

My allergy meds (OTC) have been keeping it a bay, but I sure know if I forget to take it on time. This morning was especially bad with the humidity being so high, in fact, I turned on the A/C and dehumidifier just to try and help out. Feeling better already!
