Steve Browne has my vote for being the best! Quit watching the others a long time ago. Whatever happened to Albert Flores? Didn't he get into trouble for plagirism (?). I wonder what he's doing now. I thought he was a good guy.

Yay Steve Browne!

Everybody talks about the weather but nobody does anything about it!*

OK, maybe Mark Twain (Samuel L. Clemens) didn't live in San Antonio; but at least he understood that it is futile to complain about that you cannot change. I for one would prefer to have a hot, dry summer, especially after last year! I am also glad we had a mild winter, because anyone that was around for the ice storms of January 2007 and had to go to work in them will know that San Antonio and severe winter weather are not a good mix! But either way, what happens is what happens, and the most you can do about the weather is to prepare for it the best you can!

Cheers! M2

* - By the way, I learned that it may not have been Twain/Clemens but his collaborator on The Gilded Age, Charles Dudley Warner, who actually wrote that statement.

I'm sorry, but I have a hard time believing a computer model can predict the weather 3 to 6 months in advance, let alone 2 - 3 days in advance.

I prefer KENS 5 for news, but I must admit that Steve's forecasts do seem to be better than Bill Taylor's on KENS 5. Several times I've seen Bill completely blow a forecast and never mention it the next day.

Although I can understand how people here grew attached to Albert after 22 years on the air, I don't miss him. I thought he was the weak link on that newscast. Bill Taylor's presentation is much better, plus he interacts with the other anchors better than Albert did.

I'm glad that JB seems to be wrong thus far. We seem to be getting more rain with each passing month since February.

Little more than trace amounts! I refuse to believe that Jennifer Broome is not God.

Everyone is entitled to their beliefs, no matter how shallow and self-involved those ideals make them look.

YIKES!

I'm hoping to move in to a yard that's not completely dead... my imagination is working overtime here!
