it actually parallels the future 211 conection, and no doubt the neighborhood will have their own connections to 211 once it's built

I'd be surprised if Stevens Ranch in some way or another isn't built.

Roger that, but this would be more economical for the state as some of the road is already completed. Maybe they could also develop that area into a large park? We definitely need one in this area of town.

The million square foot retail center will be built for anyone wondering.

Also, a new luxury subdivision was announced yesterday to be called King's Gate. It'll be built off 1283 near Medina Lake just past Dancing Bear. Lots in this development will be selling for up $160,000 dollars.

That is in my neck of the woods. Do you have any more info on King's Gate? Do you know if it will be in Bandera County or Medina County?
I will also google it and maybe find the answers to my questions.

I know I can't stop the growth but I kinda like my small town feel
I guess I need to look at the positive side, when I do finally retire our 200 acres should be worth a pretty penny

This probably needs its own thread but anyhow.....
I found this info on King's Gate:
King's Gate - Overview

Looks like it will be a nice place. It is in Medina Valley ISD so your kiddos will be going to school in Castroville. I don't know anything about MV ISD but that is a long ways from home.

I will have to check it out. If it is where I think it is, it is still in the construction stage and not accessible. Unless I take my Jeep of course
