Seems like we are finally getting some substantial rain today. The radar this morning looked pretty promising.

I can't wait to let our dog back in the house so he can track mud all over!

Yes, isn't it wonderful. I was supposed to go into SA today to do some grocery shopping but decided to stay home and enjoy the thunderstorm.
This is some much needed rain. My daughter and I just planted LOTS of flowers yesterday, I'm sure the plants are loving it.

Be grateful you have rain. Think of the Atlanta drought.

I am very grateful! I love to hear the thunder and I know our grass/plants are drinking it up-I guess sarcasm doesn't translate well online.

I hate rainy days good thing i didnt work today, because when it rains drivers here get dazed and scared, i remember one time i was hauling Peroxide and it started to rain. so i get on the right lane and slow to 50 on the freeway then about 15 drivers got next to me and behind me one one of them blocked the other lane to the right i got ticked, so i ended up pulling over.

We're in a drought here, too. It just hasn't affected our water supply yet this year thanks to a handful of soaking rains last July.

For a second there, I thought the OP was going to start out with, "The old man in snooring!!!"

Finally lawns won't look so dead, the bluebonnets can start growing, and everything can start looking like it's spring.

Does anyone else notice that KENS 5 hates any weather that's not hot and dry? Even when it's winter, they praise it when it's above-average hot and dry outside. Just today on the noon news, did they start off by saying farmers get desperately-needed relief? Did they say it's good that dried-out plant life can starting turn green again? No. They complain about morning rush hour traffic complicated by the rain.
