Some stuff one might hear at a Canadian pub/bar:
alcool - pure grain alcohol sold in Quebec
The Beer Store - place to buy beer in Ontario; formerly known as Brewers' Retail
Bloody Caesar - drink made with vodka and clamato (clam and tomato) juice
Caribou - potent mixture of wine and grain alcohol (alcool)
dep wine - in Quebec, cheap wine sold at a dépanneur
impaired (noun) - a charge of drunk driving
mickey - 375 ml. (13 oz.) bottle of liquor; called a pint in the Maritimes and a flask in Newfoundland
moose milk - a drink consisting of liquor (usually rum), milk, eggs, and other ingredients
skunky - said of beer that has gone bad
twenty-sixer - 26 oz. (750 ml.) bottle of liquor; a fifth; called a quart in the Maritimes
two-four - case of beer containing 24 bottles

Got any interesting slang words where you're from?
Oh -THAT Mickie - Haven't bought such a small bottle since I was in high school - LOL!

Oh - Paka- You just wait until the meet and greet.....I'm sure you'll hear lots of Canadianisms from my husband and I. For example, we just can't stop asking for "serviettes" at restaurants and asking for directions to the "washroom".

By the way....I don't say "eh" but my family does.... I guess I've been away long enough that's it's disappeared from my vernacular....woo hoo!
