With A-B looking to sell to a European giant, rumors are that Sea World might be searching for a new owner. I am going to start a wild rumor. Wouldn't it be nice if Walt Disney would buy Sea World! Couldn't you just see Mickey Mouse & Donald Duck running around with Shamu! Let the rumors begin!

I can just picture Donald Duck having a 'ahem' discussion with Shamu!

If Six Flags bought Sea World it might put the San Antonio location in jeopardy (one of the two). If Disney bought it, they have the same problem in Orlando. Oh well, any other buyers?

Or maybe Dolly Parton will buy it? Don't you think San Antonio would be a great place for the second location of Dollywood?

I don't know if she has that kind of bucks. There are 3 parks in the deal. Universal Studios has parks, but they to are in Orlando.

Six Flags would be a logical buyer, but they're not in the best financial shape. I doubt they would be able to take these on right now.

Goes back to Disney as the most successful. Love to have a Disney presence in SA!

Six Flags is dealing with some debt troubles, from what I've heard. Having Disney come in would be cool, but most likely some foreign company will buy up the A-B theme parks with cheap, cheap American dollars.

I heard the news anchor on WOAI radio say that they had already spoken with Disney and Six Flags, and that neither one were interested.

I dunno, if InBev buys AB, I would be game for things staying the same. Instead of AB products, we'd have things like Stella Artois and Beck's being served at the parks. Gets my vote!
