Of course the city can support this type of establishment. With over 2 million people in the metro, I'm sure a good portion are men that get manicures. San Antonio has a fair share of metrosexuals.

I dont think you have to be a metrosexual to go to a salon/spa. I for one would go - Do go. I also think any man who doesnt keep up with appearance/ grooming etc is kinda gross
BUT thats just my own personal opinion. Believe me most of the men in San Antonio could use a good facial, mani-pedi, and waxing hahaha
Im sure most wont though. However I do think there would be a clientele for it.
