I was born at the Nix on the Riverwalk. Moved to Tulsa for a short time and came back.

I wasn't but I have 2 kids that were born and raised here. My oldest wants to move to California, but he loves it here. My youngest wants to go to some beach town for college, and major in blondes, so who knows if he'll come back.

My DH was born & raised here. Lived around SAC, before it was SAC. San Pedro Park was his playground. I love when we drive around that area, and he reminisces, about the people, places, and events. He was some funny boy!!!

So being a lifer means, you're a card carrying member of the Nix Hospital????

http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff231/marini-martini/00020080.gif (broken link)

I needed stitches one time, when I was taking care of the plants at the Hilton, and pulled a dead limb on a large Arboracola, and it came back and slashed my face under my right eye. OWOWOWOW! Went to the Nix, and they wouldn;t treat me, I guess because I wasn't a "lifer". So took a cab to the Down Town Baptist, where I got 8 stitches. Then went to the bar at the Hyatt and had 2 long island icew teas!! My boss was there, and yes, I told him I was in a fight!!! LOL

Oh, BTW, did anyone mention the Down Town Enchilada Red Library???
