We've had TWC digital three for a little while now. No problems with their service at all, except for when we moved, but those problems were due to the house wiring -

- which leads me to ask, did the techs check everything on the TWC side? What about on your side - the wiring, the jacks, connections, etc. Sometimes a cold crimp or exposed wire can be ridiculously hard to find....

What symptoms do you get? What do people get when they call you and can tell your phone isn't working? Is the line constantly busy, constantly rings, etc? What do you get when you pick up the line?

When someone calls in, a recorded voice comes on even before it rings and says, "We're sorry. This service is unavailable at this time. Please try again later."

When I pick up the phone the line is just dead, with no sound at all.

This happens a lot... several times each week (that I know of.) Very annoying!!!!!!!!!! And no one can figure out the cause. Other than this, I am very happy with TW. But this is a big deal and is about to cause me to switch.

We had the same problem when we moved, the phone would go dead for about 10 minutes at a time. We had a slew of techs come out and finally they had to dig up the wires from our neighbors house and rerun it. Solved the problem!

Were you able to get the problem fixed? My internet & cable work fine with no interruptions...

Yes. I used to have phone service through them and it did happen. I also could not receive incoming faxes when I had the digital phone. ATT phone service has been more reliable. I ditched the TW cable over a year ago because I could no longer afford it.

Same here. And we've had it for a few years now. MUCH more reliable than our old AT&T (known as SBC back then) line. No kidding.
