Every Halloween on the 99.5 KISS morning show...they play an audio ghost story called "Fang Baby of Old Pearsall Rd" by a local folk storyteller named Tim Tingle. It is suppose to be based on real accounts from a woman named Eva Flores from the southside. I have never heard any other account of this Fang Baby. Has anyone out there heard any other story related to the Fang Baby other than the Tim Tingle story? Does anyone actually know this Eva Flores?

Doc Moore tells the story too...

My guess is that it's just another folk story...

ditto....and Eva Flores might just be too hard to trace to verify the info. I wouldn't chase that one, but the story sounds fun in time for Halloween.

I personally like to have a bit of verifiable info to make these stories really interesting.

Do you remember the one about the couple parking, and they kept hearing the thump, thump, thump...and the guy got out of the car to check and never came back...and they had parked under a tree that had someone hanging and it was the blood from the body hitting the car roof??? I think that was in every stay except maybe AK and HI!!! ALWAYS got drug back to life around this time of the year...that and the guy with the hook hand.

Hey, come to think of it my MOM told me these stories...and it was ALWAYS before a date????!!?!?!?!? LOL

The crazy lady probably saw the movie "It's Alive", horror classic from the 70's.

If it's the same audio-story I've heard it's pretty funny the way the reader says "fang baby". He's got a thick Texas accent and deep voice and that's like the funniest thing you could hear someone with a voice like that say.

That's the same story I heard, but it was the Donkey Lady that attacked the guy.
