My daughter is just gone back to school and is working there. We shop and eat in there a lot. Buffalo Wings , Chili's and Longhorn Cafe .. You know I've forgotten and am now wondering what have they done with the old Hangar 9 museum??

I been hounding Sam's Club to come into our area for awhile now the nearest one in on SW Military and I REALLY want one closer to me Last I heard the reason the aren't building it is because the SW Military Dr store would lose too much business...so who knows if we will ever get one over here.

I still wish we would get a craft store and a decent bookstore...heck I'd love a half price books if we couldn't get a Borders or Barnes and Noble over here or both!

BUT I'm glad for all the stuff we do have over here now. I don't have to go to the other-side of town as much and fight traffic

They have a craft store....I cant remember the name, but I didnt think it had a great selection. (Probably why I cant remember the name)

OT....I do think that Longhorn Cafe location is a crappy representation of Longhorn. For some reason they just dont make the food as good as the other locations in UC and Blanco.

I wouldn't call Craft Country a good craft store. It's over priced and ancient merchandise. Plus they don't carry much of anything. I'm talking a Hobby Lobby or a Michaels.

I wasn't impressed with Longhorn either. There is a bookstore on the side behind Buffalo Wings!

I'm glad to see there's a bookstore! I hope they are supporting it....I remember everyone being upset about the lack of one. Is it an independent place or a chain?

My boys were always hoping for a Half-Priced or Barnes and Nobles over here. WE used to go to River Center or out off Huebner and I-10 I think. You know I didn't pay attention to the name but this is probably a books and crafts/art store combo.

I love Half-Price Books. I think they would do well down in that area. I was shopping over there a few months ago and was amazed at how much it's grown. I used to work down on Roosevelt and when I left that company in 2005, it was just starting to boom. We were so excited to have more lunchtime choices! We could only do Don Pedro's so many times a week.
