Default People with navigation + xm nav traffic in their car

I realized what a horrible day it is to be driving on 281 near San Pedro or 410 near Bandera today. Lots of lanes closed due to construction. My question for you guys with XM nav traffic, does your navigation even catch this stuff?

I have an 07 Acura TL-S and it's supposed to show accidents and construction areas on the navi but it either doesnt or it does show up very very late (you're already near the accident by the time it shows up). my navi should have showed the construction closures on the roads today but there was nothing. i often pass by accidents that dont show up on navi. i would like to know if anyone showed something on their navi about lane closures today.

furthermore, it should show traffic flow on the navi but that part i have to take up with the dealer. i realize that is not supported in all cities but im pretty sure s.a. should have it. i dont think i'll be renewing xm... well at least the nav traffic part of it.

My Nokia phone GPS shows the latest events just fine. With an explanation when it happened, what and when is expected to end. Also all road constructions and closures. I guess this is up to service, no?

Sirius shows it and it pretty accurate with it, but you do have to pay attention and actually look for it. It doesn't jump out and hit you in the face.

I have an Acura RDX and have similar complaints. The problem is 'garbage in, garbage out'. SA doesn't do a good job of reporting accidents and traffic to the common database, so my in-car navigation struggles with providing up-to-date information. I have driven through other cities such as Houston and Atlanta and was surprised with the accuracy of it.
