That kind of depends on your negotiation skills. But I'd recommend steering clear of the franchises.

The one on Austin Hwy used to have good guns for a fair price.

Moderator cut: orphaned

But to recap, I have found no real deals on guns at local pawn shops. As a matter of fact, most have ridiculous prices on the guns I am relatively aware of the current prices on...

Cheers! M2

I've found deals here and there - as noted, avoid the chain types generally. They seem to think they should get NIB prices for the rusted chunk of metal that USED to be a nice gun!

Just so you can mark it on your calendar's for next weekend (Feb 6-7), there will be the monthly SAXET show at the SA Event Center (8111 Meadow Leaf, or the intersection of Marbach and 410). Show hours are Sat. 9am - 6pm and Sun. 9am - 5pm, and parking is free. Last month's show was packed, as was last weekends SAXET show up in Stone Oak, so it might be a good idea to get there early!

This show is the first weekend of every month, in case you want to mark the rest of your calendar as well! Here are the other remaining dates for this year...

Mar 6-7
Apr 3-4
May 1-2
Jun 5-6
Jul 3-4
Aug 7-8
Sep 4-5
Oct 2-3
Nov 6-7
Dec 4-5

Cheers! M2

Wetmore shooting sports has handled my online purchases for a $20 transfer fee. Find your best deal online and let them do the transfer.

Where is Wetmore Shooting Sports? $20 is a very reasonable price

I might have to see Lock and Load about an LCR.

Well, the show's this weekend...who is going when?

We're gonna be there when it opens tomorrow, and I have heard TRN is going on Sunday. Anyone else?

By the way, I am waiting for this new coffee chain to come to Texas...

Cheers! M2
