We are getting ready to build in Live Oak and are curious about the plumbing, piping and overall quality of the KB homes being built. I hear the customer service is horrible KB homes wide. Is this a good risk or keep looking?

I know this is an old thread, but a quick post just in case it's helpful.

I live in nearby Windcrest, and think our "fair city" has it all over Live Oak. There's a much greater variety of homes, old and new, large and small. Shopping is convenient at nearby Walzem Road. We have parks (plural), ponds (again), ball fields, pool, tennis courts, library, low speed limits, and responsive government. We're a small town right next to San Antonio.

Our location, where two major highways converge (I-35 and I-410) means we can get anywhere in San Antonio fairly easily.

Ha, no, I'm not on the City Council or employed by Windcrest. Just a citizen who's proud of my town.

I found it helpful my family and I are looking to move to SA soon and from what I can see using the internet Windcrest seems like a nice place, affordable and away from high crime which seems to be more concentrated in the center of SA. At least from what I've gathered. Sound right?? It's kinda scary moving to a new place relying on contradicting info.
