Does anyone know what stage of construction is River Rock Ranch in? I am exploring buying a home there and have only looked at internet pictures of homes and looks like it is still just being planned. Does anyone live there yet? Is it a nice area to live in? Elena

several roads are cut and there are people living there. It is far from in the simple planning stages. I know Highland homes was selling in there and I think Perry may be as well.

ITs a beautiful location that is close to everything you need but still has a country feel. Problem is - the road it is off of backs up like crazy in the mornings and evenings. Basically it is a two lane road with enough traffic at the high times for 4 or 6.

Hope that helps.

Hi Elena

There are some pretty homes in River Rock Ranch. We especially like the model. It was for sale a while back. There are beautiful views from many of the lots. There are lots of finished lived in houses already, but still a lot of home in progress and a lot of lots left to build on. They are marketing the homes there as Green Energy Homes. Not sure if there is a neighborhood pool or playground planned there. And, yes, Boerne Stage Road backs up badly during rush hour. That will eventually be fixed when they put the turn around in under I-10 instead of the stop lights and turn the feeder road in front of HEB into one-way. That is coming as the construction moves north up I-10 but still a ways away. Go check out the neighborhood though when you're in town. We enjoy driving through to watch the progress. The neighborhood was just being planned when we moved in 2 summers ago. Aue is the elementary school for RRR.
