Its like, Im way on the 4th floor and I can hear their big mouths from way up here. Its like SHutup your mouth! And they seem to love to walk outside and talk loud. I had a friend attempt to do that outside of my door while talking on the phone and I yanked him by the collar, covered his mouth and brung him inside.

Is anyone familiar with the 12-inch rule? Meaning, keeping the conversation within a 12 inch bubble? These are grown people we are talking about here, not children...

It's partially cultural... just like the way people here get in your personal space in check-out lines. I hate that!!!!! Just another "new" thing we had to get used to here.

Stay on topic. Attempts to hi-jack threads by switching topics or going off topic will be deleted and infractions issued. This is not a chat room - when people hi-jack threads by posting messages that are of interest to only few people, the threads often stop being useful discussions of initial topics.

I haven't found it to be any different than any other city I have been to.

I live in a new neighborhood with almost no trees,
and I've noticed that you can hear people talking from a block away.
I think is because there's no trees.
