I noticed at the last electro music festival they had at National Orange Show Events Center in SBD that I had no cell phone reception the whole time until I walked far away to go back to my car at the dirt parking lot.

I have the T-Mobile unlimited plan because I'm thrifty (cheap) that way. I also have crackberry aka blackberry 9700.... I'm wondering if upgrading to a different phone might help, but both HTC and Samsung are ridiculously expensive right now.

Has anyone had any problem with their cell phone reception in that area? If so, which carrier? And what's the model of your phone? Other friends who have verizon or something else didn't seem to have that problem. I'm going there again for the Halloween event and worried I will run into the same problem.

But at $60 a month, unlimited plan is a good deal while others can't beat it. I've been to Fontana many times and don't seem to have any issues with the reception there.

I've have t-Mobile too, and there are places where I don't get service, but my friends with Verizon or ATT are fine.

And if it's any help, I have an iPhone - when my contract with ATT ran out, I popped in a T-Mobile sim card instead! So I doubt it's your phone - it's more likely just limitations in T-Mobile's coverage.

oooohhhhh!!! I thought about getting an unlocked phone on T-Mobile, so you are using your iphone on T-Mobile? Anyway, yes, it looks like it's the T-mobile coverage that's crapped out.
