i THINK i have made a final decision about moving to the palm springs area. some of you who might have read some of my other posts know that ive been trying to choose between palm springs and pasadena. and i think the desert kinda makes more sense to me.

so i am sick and stuck in bed for the 3rd straight day in a row and i am BORED out of my mind. i had to cancel my bday party and everything so i was wondering if you could all just reassure that i made the right decision. why is living in the desert so much better than living in la? in your opinion, of course. make me feel good about the decision ive made because it was a difficult and scary one. and also, someone check out this link and tell me whats up with it. this apartment was listed on craigslist for $799. just doesnt seem right.

http://www.tsatote.com/loft/ps.html (broken link)

thanks for all of your help. ill be moving in about 4 months and it just seems surreal to me. im so excited!

No!!! You've made the RIGHT decision!!! The desert is pristine and beautiful, the LA area is crowded and dirty. We have really good air quality here, LA doesn't. And the best thing of all (drumroll please ...) .................................................. ................

I'M IN THE DESERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think the pic accompanying the ad for the apartment in PS in the link you provided is the apartment being advertised. I don't recognize the area outside the windows. PS doesn't have any really tall buildings, like the one shown in the pic. I could be wrong though, but probably not.

I love Palm Springs. You are so lucky. I have to stay in Hemet because I stay with my Mom who is getting on in years and is needing me more and more. I wish she lived in Palm Springs, sigh.

You made the right choice. Less traffic, no smog. Sure it's hot in the summer, but that's what a siesta is for.
