Anyone know of more recent demographic data on Temecula and surrounding than the 2010 census data?

A recurrent story I run into is that Inland Empire went Section 8 in a big way, during the Great Recession.

I'm thinking 2010 census data wouldn't capture that... it would have been just a little early for the full effects to have set in.

So wondering if data more accurate to today is out there, that I've missed?

Have also heard it tends to be the exburb of Camp Pendleton. Saw one poster call it, "Camp Pendleton without the guard shack"... LOL!

Any truth to that? Doesn't really affect me one way or the other, grew up in a house with an ex-military father. But curious if it's true.

Along those lines, is Temecula considered liberal or conservative?

Do you think you could have incorporated all your questions into one thread, instead of 6?

It amazes me that so many City-Data forum members are unaware that there is a City-Data site with much newer (2017-19) demographic data.
