The high was about 82F in SP today.

Sunny and Clear.

A little humid, but not too bad(yet)

20°F?!? That's light jacket weather, with 40°F being no jacket weather. I don't even put gloves on until it gets below 0°F. But it's a "dry cold" here supposedly. If I ever make it back to Southern CA during winter, I doubt I'll even bring a jacket.

We've already had -18°F here in Colorado.

High desert always gets snow! I'm jealous!

Low desert has gotten snow once in the last 10 years.

It stopped raining....the sky is as clear and as blue as can be. The neighbor is mowing his lawn. I'm going to go sit in the spa.

the storm early this morning hit fast & left quickly. Temp in yucaipa at 8:30 am was 40 degrees. The young pretty brunette at vons who bags groceries, gets carts, etc. said it was going to snow. I told her it has to be 32 degrees to snow. She said "oh really". I got a feeling shes going to work in the grocery store business for a long time.

Pretty much sums up the asinine weather patterns that define the California desert.
Like the broiling, summer heatwaves, but someone else could have this winter wind and cold.
I work outside at night for 12 hours and when it dips below 30 and keeps dropping, I literally feel like my soul is getting pulled from my body.

Now if it's just brutally cold, but no hint of the annoying, desert wind, then I'm good.
