Have a question for everyone....

I would like to know which areas or towns are pretty close to San Diego and still retain the same climate. Obviously I know that the more inland you go, that the general climate is going to change as you distance yourself from the coast.

Any suggestions on places reasonably close to the city of San Diego that would be a little easier to purchase in. I assume I will get some answers ranging from North County to East County. Could you please explain pricepoints for single family homes as well as temperature differences, in particular, how hot it typically gets in the Summer. Much appreciated.

sc,

Use this map after you take a gander at the microclimate provided by kettlepot.

SDLookup.com | Map of San Diego Neighborhoods

Note: Each dot on the map represents zip codes or a specific part of town that has its own designation. If you hover over the dots, you will see short stats about median listing prices and how many houses are for sale.
After you click onto the area, you can get full blown statistics on what has sold, what is for sale and the daily status changes for each area you select respectively.
When it comes to this type of information, there is no other online tool that I have found for San Diego that compares. For home search, try you can cross reference with redfin.com based on MLS number.
