When I lived downtown I was a few blocks from ball park and would naturally see a lot of people parking in the area etc going to the game.

A part from when the Pads were hot several years ago, the biggest draws I used to see consistently were the Giants and Dodgers. For intra league by far the Mets, Red Sox and Phillies. Sometimes the D-Backs if there was a weekend game.

Every other team was snooze for the most part. We had tickets up in the VIP area where they have a sushi restaurant. Its pretty awesome. Its like going to dinner and then having the live game on in the background, which was weird-ish but still neat to experience nonetheless.
We prefer sitting behind home plate as it really put you in the game.

Nope, they don't do that. Besides, with some tickets as low as $5 and some as low as $10, do you really need much more of a discount?

I absolutely agree and I wouldn't be surprised if people paid for the cheapo tickets and sat in premium seats. Most of the ticket people at the entrance of each section seemed to be senior citizens and they weren't checking anyone's ticket when we were there.

And to be honest there were so many empty seats I doubt anyone would have cared.

Buy the five dollar park pass, go early, and you can get a decent seat at the bar or outside patio in the western metal bldg. If you order food and drinks you can pretty much sit there the whole game undisturbed. Unless I get free tickets, this is the most that I am willing to commit to see a minor league team.

We are going Wed. Tickets behind home plate field level $25 for a ticket on Stub Hub.
