Hi all,
We are moving from Dallas to San Diego in January 2008. We were wondering whether furnitures (for 1 bedroom apartments: bed, sofa, dining table chairs etc) are expensive in San Diego compared to Dallas.
Should we buy and bring furnitures from Dallas or buy in San Diego ?
Moving is handeled by a relocation company, so I do nnot have to worry about that.
It will be really helpful to me if somebody tells me the differenc ein furniture costs between Dallas and San Diego.

Thanks in advance.

If you are not being compensated for relocation expense, I would suggest you should get rid of the furniture in Dallas and buy in SD. I am basing my opinion on the ridiculous amount that these companies charge (sometime as high as $5000) for relocation not to mention their suspect handling/service.
