I have to over in the morning to pick up my mail, but if there's a line, I won't go. I always check the border wait crossing time website and app on my phone to check the times before going out.

It took me 45 minutes to cross the border in the Ready Lane yesterday, and that was at 6:15am. I got back around 8 last night, and there was no line, but there were a lot of people going back into Mexico. It was a little backed up getting to the turnstiles, but only about five minutes.

I spoke to a co-worker on the trolley that said on Saturday, it took her 3 hours to cross into Mexico, due to the line. There are also BP officers stationed near the turnstiles with a table and pop-up, stopped people at random with a lot of packages to inspect them. I'm guessing that they're doing that to keep the little room from backing up.

I'm going to wait until after XMAS to pick up my mail, I don't want to get stuck in a XMAS last minute shopping nightmare. I do have to cross driving on Wednesday, because I'm working the Poinsettia Bowl, so I have to leave at 4am, and hopefully won't be in line long. I'll have to waste a lot of time, since I don't have to be at work until 2:30.

Thanks for the update. Crazy. I've never heard of a three hour line to get into Mexico. Hopefully after Christmas it will get back to normal.

It's always like that at the border around the holidays.
Me and my buddies usually go down there to hit up the Sports Books during the holidays
